Men's 100m Results | Women's Long Jump Results
SACRAMENTO, Calif.—Clinton Cole and
Sarea Alexander started the University of the Incarnate Word track and field teams off strong on the first day of the NCAA West Regional.
Cole set the tone in the 100m, running a 10.35 to advance to the quarterfinal on Friday, May 25. He enters with the 16th fastest time and is scheduled to compete at 8 p.m. CT.
Alexander posted a leap of 5.96m/19-6.75 in the women's long jump to finish 13th, just missing the twelfth position to qualify for Nationals by four centimeters.

Jerica Love competes in the first round of the 100m hurdles at 7 p.m. CT, followed by Cole's quarterfinal run in the 100m at 8 p.m. CT. Alexander competes in the women's triple jump on Saturday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. CT and the women's 4x400m relay is set to close the meet at 11:45 p.m. CT.
