Cardinals Finish Third at PGA Minority Collegiate Tournament
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's golf team concluded its 2018 season at the PGA Minority Collegiate Tournament on Sunday, finishing third.
HOW IT HAPPENED
John Hill led the way for the Cardinals, shooting rounds of 77, 70 and 77 for 224 (+8).
Chase Rios competed in the individual competition for the Cardinals. He placed seventh, with rounds of 80, 75 and 74 for a 229 (+13).
The Cardinals shot rounds of 314, 303 and 301 for a total of 918 (+54). UIW finished ahead of Alabama A&M, Chicago State, Florida A&M, Hampton, NC Central and North Carolina A&T.
Bethune Cookman won the Minority Collegiate, shooting rounds of 286, 282 and 286 for an 854 (-10). Savannah State followed with a 911 (+47).
