Biography
2016-17 (Sophomore): Wylie played in eight tournaments over his sophomore campaign, including 3 top 25 finishes on the year... lowest score, and round would both come at the 4th James S. Litz Memorial. Smith shot 215, and in his 2nd round he would go 69. At the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship he would have a 4th place finish. Recording 9 birdies with 5 coming in the last round.
High School: Wylie was a four-year letterwinner on the golf team at Boerne High School... was the team MVP and team captain as a junior and senior... finished in third place at the 2015 State Championship as a senior. The team had the highest state golf tournament finish in school history. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
Personal: Wylie is the son of Mac and Joan Wylie and is studying business management. His father played at Sam Houston State University. He has a brother, Austin, who also golfed for UIW, and a sister, Cara. He was born on November 4, 1996.
