SAN ANTONIO -- The eighth-seeded University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team fell, 4-0, to top-seeded McNeese in the first round of the Southland Conference Tennis Tournament on Friday afternoon at the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Complex.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
After dropping the doubles point, the Cardinals fell in three hard-fought singles matches. UIW's Alejandra Landaluce took Charoline Erlandsson to a tiebreaker in set one, but ultimately fell, 7-6 (2), 6-2, on court five as the Cowgirls secured the 4-0 victory.
