SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team is looking to get its first home victory of the season this weekend. The Cardinals will return to the McDermott Convocation Center on Saturday to face Nicholls State University at 11 a.m.
OPENING SET
UIW is now 1-3 in the Conference and 0-2 on its home court. The squad has fallen short in its last few matches, but plans to come out in full force on Saturday.
Nicholls is 2-15 overall and 0-4 in conference play. The Colonels are currently on a seven game losing streak and have been swept 3-0 in three of their four conference matches. Nicholls averages 10.2 kills 1.3 blocks per set.
