EDINBURG, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team continues competition on the road this weekend. The Cardinals are set for the UT Rio Grande Valley Tournament that will be played in the UTRGV Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday.
OPENING SET
Last weekend the Cardinals suffered a 2-0 defeat at the Rice Adidas Invitational I tournament. UIW has another opportunity to get the kinks out at the UTRGV tournament this weekend before heading into conference play next Thursday in Louisiana. The Cardinals (1-4) will play the host on Friday at 7 p.m. and Texas Southern University on Saturday at 11 a.m.
