PULLMAN, Washington - The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team is set to open its 2017 season at the Cougar Challenge Tournament hosted by Washington State. The tournament will take place in Bohler gym on Thursday and Friday.
OPENING SET
UIW Volleyball was pumped to host its very own I-10 Cardinals Classic last weekend, but the tournament was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Harvey. Quinnipiac University opened its season at the Fort Wayne Invitational with an 0-3 finish. Washington State comes into the tournament with a 2-0 record from play against American University and Howard University. College of Charleston enters the tournament with a 2-1 record, overcoming USC Upstate and Tennessee State at the Hampton Inn and Suites Classic.
