SAN ANTONIO– After starting Southland Conference play with a series win on the road, the University of the Incarnate Word baseball team will host Central Arkansas for a three-game series at Sullivan Field on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.
FIRST PITCH
The Cardinals (11-7) started Southland Conference play with a series win at Abilene Christian. They won the first two games 6-3, and 5-4, before dropping the last game 5-0. Their 2-1 conference record is second best in the Southland. Only Southeastern Louisiana, McNeese and Sam Houston have a better record at 3-0.
