HAMMOND, LOUISIANA – The University of the Incarnate Word basketball teams travel to Southland Conference rival Southeastern Louisiana University on Saturday for a doubleheader. The women's game begins at 1 p.m. and the men's game follows at 4 p.m.
The UIW women enter the game with a 3-11 record and 0-3 mark in the conference. They have lost each of their last four games by seven points or less.
Brianna Williams (Wylie/Mesquite HS) and
Aricka Adams (Round Rock/Round Rock HS) lead the offense with 12.1 and 11.6 points per game, respectively.
Yvonne Maosa (Arlington/Mansfield HS) has played well recently with three straight double-digit scoring games and her first double-double of the year against Northwestern State. She leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per game.

The Lions enter Saturday's game with a 2-14 record and 0-3 mark in conference. Zay Jackson is the only player on the team averaging double figures with 13.1 points per game.
