2014-15 (Junior): In his third season as a Cardinal, Badillo proved to be one of the team’s most important players starting eighteen games and averaging just over eight points a game. He had a big game in the win at Princeton when he had 12 points, eight regounds and five assists in 40 minutes. He made the game winning shot with just seconds left on the clock to beat McNeese State on January 26. On January 17, Badillo scored a season high 18 points in a double overtime loss to Southeastern Louisiana. He dished out eight assists in four different games and finished the year with 135 assists, the third highest total in school history. For the season, he ranked third in the Southland Conference with 4.9 assists per game and became the second player in school history with 100 assists in three seasons. He was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic second team.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Badillo was a consistent performer for the Cardinals as the team's Sixth Man. He received five starts on the year and averaged 26.2 minutes of play. He averaged 8.0 points per game and scored double figures in 10 games. He poured in a season high 19 points and grabbed six rebounds on the road at North Texas. He dished out a season high nine assists in a win at New Orleans. He had 14 points, four assists and three steals in a win over Sam Houston State. He nearly helped the Cardinals pull off a huge upset at Stephen F. Austin when he scored 13 points and had five assists in a two-point loss. He just missed his first career double-double when he had nine rebounds and eight points in a win over Houston Baptist. He led the Cardinals with 4.3 assists per game and added 32 steals. He shot 47.6 percent from the field, 39.6 percent from three-point range and 77.8 percent from the foul line. He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2012-13 (Freshman): Badillo started half the games for the Cardinals as a true freshman. He scored in double figures in six games, including a season high 16 points in a win over Cameron. He had 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in a loss to St. Mary's. He dished out a season high eight assists in a win at Texas A&M-International. He led the team with 108 assists for the season and had at least four assists in 18 games. In the Lone Star Conference Tournament he averaged 8.5 points and 6.0 assists per game while committing only one turnover. Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Badillo was a back-to-back District MVP at Cypress Falls High School as a junior and senior. He led Greater Houston in assists in each of his final two seasons. He earned All-Greater Houston Third Team and All-State Third Team honors as a senior. He averaged 14 points and eight assists per game in 2011-12. He owns the Cy-Falls school records for assists in a game and a career. He played in the TABC and TSHCA All-Star games. He led the team to the State playoffs as a freshman and back-to-back district titles as a junior and senior.
Personal: Badillo is the son of Frank Badillo and Kim Hennessy and is studying finance with a minor in marketing. He has three brothers; Mason, Marc and Michael. He was born on January 19, 1994.
