NATCHITOCHES, LOUISIANA – The University of the Incarnate Word women's tennis team head on the road for back-to-back Southland Conference action on Saturday and Sunday.

After losing their opening conference game 7-0 against Abilene Christian last week, the Cardinals (2-7) travel to Louisiana for the first of their weekend fixtures.

The Northwestern State Lady Demons (9-3) have had a good season so far and will be heading into the match-up coming off of a seven game winning streak.

In the Southland Conference they have won both of their opening games with a 7-0 sweep against Oral Roberts and a 6-1 victory against Central Arkansas.  The match will start at 11 a.m.

Travelling back to Texas, the Cardinals will then play the Lady Jacks of Stephen F. Austin, who are 5-5 in the season.

They too have posted consecutive victories against Oral Roberts and Central Arkansas and will play the Cardinals on Sunday at 11 a.m. after fixtures against Cleveland State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the previous three days.
