SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word is back in action on Thursday at 7 p.m. when the women's soccer team battles long-time rival Texas A&M-International at Benson Stadium.
The Cardinals (1-0) season begins with four straight home matches. UIW dominated the first match of the season against Prairie View A&M, 3-1. The victory was not only the first for the women's soccer team but for all UIW athletics' program as an NCAA Division I member.
"We are going to take this (first win) and go with it," said junior forward
Sarah Flores. "It was our first game. We came out really pumped and were really excited."

This is the opening game of the season for the Dustdevils.
