SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team and Stephen F. Austin battled to a 1-1 draw on senior night at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium.
The Ladyjacks struck first, finding the back of the net in the 29th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
UIW responded early in the second half after earning a free kick in dangerous territory in the 56th minute. Joella Livingston set up Sinead Duffy, who played the ball into a crowded box where senior Abigail Wilson used her heel to flick it into the back of the net — marking her first career goal on senior night and leveling the match at 1-1 in the 58th minute.
The Cardinals close out the regular season on the road against Texas A&M–Corpus Christi.
