The women's tennis team finshed up the regular season with a weekend split beating St. Marys University but falling to Oklahoma Christian. Incarnate Word finished up the regular season at 10-7. 

On Friday, Incarnate Word easily took care of crosstown opponent, St. Marys, 7-2. The Cardinals got off to a 2-1 lead after winning two of the three doubles matches. They also got singles wins from Ivana Katavic, Maggae Doney, Malisa Vatanadilok, Andi Botha and Francesca Bassoo. 

Sunday presented a little bit of tougher competition for the Cardinals. They narrowly lost to NAIA's 4th best team in the country. After grabbing a 2-1 lead after doubles competition, Oklahoma Christian won the first four singles games to win the match. Incarnate Word did win the final two matches to end at 5-4. Andi Botha continued her hot streak; winning her 9th singles match in a row. 

Next up for the Cardinals will be a trip to the Dallas area for the Lone Star Conference Tournament. Action begins on Friday, April 20. The will be more information to come later in the week.
