CARDINALS BEAT STMU, FALL TO OCU

Leaury Arias improved to 8-4 on the season after picking up a win against St. Mary's.

The men's tennis team split their final regualr season games of the year to finish at 7-7.

The Cardinals got off to an easy start on Friday by picking up a quick win over crosstown rival St. Marys University. UIW picked up wins in every single matches except in the 6th spot which went unfinsihed. Leaury Arias improved to 8-4 on the season and 7-3 in his last 10. Also at 8-4 on the season is David Ballenger.

Tougher competion came into town on Sunday as the Cardinals faced off against Oklahoma Christian, the 3rd best team in NAIA. The script was flipped from Friday as UIW dropped all nine matches. Brandon Davis was the closest Cardinals to almost pick up a point. He lost in a 3rd set tiebreaker 10-6.
