The Lady Cardinal tennis team dropped a road match in Austin to fall to 7-6 on the year. Incarnate Word fell to the 24th ranked Hilltoppers 6-3.
UIW lost two out of three in doubles and only managed to get two wins in the singles. The Cardinals got wins from Brianda Navarro who defeated Carolina Fahnehjelm 6-4, 7-5 and Alex Adams who defeated Mary Bain 7-6, 6-3.
The Cardinals return to action next weekend, as they will play a handful of matches. They will hit the road and play four games up in Oklahoma. Northwest Missouri, Central Oklahoma, Cameron and Midwestern State will be the opponents for a tough road trip.
