Senior Shayn Weidner topped the list when the Heartland Conference named its 2009 all-conference cross country squad.
The Marion native won the individual title and in doing so led Incarnate Word's Cardinals to the team title at the 8K event run in Dallas.
His winning time was 25:53 which was some 36 seconds ahead of his nearest challenger. Weidner's championship came after he finished 10th a year ago.
The UIW list of honorees was completed with freshman Hilario Coronado (12th) being named honorable mention.
The Cardinals won the team title handily with a point total of 26 to second place Newman's 53.
Next up for UIW is the November 7 NCAA Division II South Central championships meet in Abilene.
