SAN ANTONIO -- Following an undefeated week of conference play, highlighted by a reverse sweep of Stephen F. Austin and a sweep of Lamar, the University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team earned two Southland Conference Player of the Week honors.

For the second time this season, Ashton Rogers was named the SLC Defensive Player of the Week, while Calissa Allison won her first Setter of the Week award of the season, the conference announced Monday morning. 

Rogers, who also received the honor on Sept. 28, earned the second conference award of her career after combining for 39 digs and 14 assists over two matches. She averaged 4.88 digs per set as the Cardinals went 2-0 on the week. 

The California native continues to anchor the Incarnate Word defense, ranking second in the Southland Conference and 21st nationally with 4.66 digs per set this season. She leads the Cardinals with 270 digs this season, helping UIW rank 13th nationally in team digs per set at 16.55. 

Allison earned her first conference award of the season and the third of her career. The Plugerville product sparked Incarnate Word's reverse sweep of Stephen F. Austin, handing the Lumberjacks their first conference loss of the season. 

In the win, Allison posted 14 kills, 31 assists and 16 digs for her 14th career triple-double, becoming just the second player in the conference to record the feat this season. Her 14 career triple-doubles move her into a tie for ninth all-time in NCAA Division I career triple-doubles since the adoption of the 25-point scoring format. The junior is one of three active players on the all-time top 20. 

Allison followed with nine kills, 14 assists and 10 digs against Lamar, recording her 10th double-double of the season in the three-set match. She finished just one kill shy of another triple-double. 

The Cardinals sit in a three-way tie for second place in the Southland Conference and will face one of their fellow second-place teams, Southeastern, at home Wednesday at 6 p.m.
