SAN ANTONIO, TX. – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team will visit the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley for a non-conference midweek matchup. First pitch for Tuesday is set for 6:30 p.m.

• Rob Liddington Jr. is the Red and Black BA. leader, batting .358. Liddington leads the team with 58 hits and 40 runs scored. Rey Mendoza and Liddington are tied for the most home runs (11). Mendoza leads the Cardinals in RBI with 46. 

• Entering the week, the Cardinals have the third-most homers (44), the fifth-most hits (378), and the fifth-most RBI (256) in the Southland Conference. 

• Josh Salinas has been the Cardinals ace, pitching to a 6.45 ERA. Salinas leads the team in strikeouts with 45 and innings pitched with 53.0. 

• The Cardinals enter the week 15-25 (2-19), after losing their lone game to Abilene Christian University last week. 

Scouting the Vaqueros 

• Armoni Raygoza leads the team batting .385 with 55 hits, 43 RBI, and 30 runs scored.  

• Victor Loa is 5-1 in ten starts and has pitched to a 2.01 ERA. In 44.2 innings, Loa has struck out 43 batters and allowed 10 runs on 29 hits.  

• The Vaqueros enter the week 26-13 (17-7) after losing their weekend series against SE Louisiana.
