SAN ANTONIO, TX – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team visits crosstown rival UTSA on March 11 at Roadrunner Field. Game time for Tuesday's game is set for 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, the Red and Black travel to take on Tarleton State University. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. for Wednesday's game.  

Both games can be streamed on ESPN+. Fans can also follow along on live stats and on X @uiwbaseball. 

Tuesday's game marks the 17th meeting all-time between the two programs. Wednesday's game in Stephenville will be the 26th meeting all-time between the two programs. 

UIW   

• Daniel Calabrese is the Cardinals' hit leader through 16 games. Calabrese leads the Red and Black, batting .408 with a team leading 29 hits. Rob Liddington Jr. leads the team in home runs with seven and has 21 runs scored and 20 RBI.  

• Entering week five, the Red and Black have the second-best BA (.320) in the SLC. They also have the most doubles (38), the second-most hits (177), the most runs (141), and the most RBI (129). 

• Rey Mendoza and Liddington lead UIW in RBI with 20. Thomas Lyssy leads the team in runs, scoring 22. 

• Salinas has been solid on the mound, pitching to a 3.47 ERA and leading the team in innings pitched (23.1) and strikeouts (23).  

• The Cardinals enter the week 8-8 after getting swept by Northwestern State University this past weekend.  

Scouting the Roadrunners 

• Mason Lytle leads the team, batting .421 with 32 hits, 26 RBI, and 22 runs scored.  

• Conor Myles is 2-0 in four starts and has pitched to a 0.95 ERA. In 19.0 innings, Myles has struck out 25 batters and allowed two runs on ten hits.  

• UTSA enters the matchup 15-3 and on a 14-game winning streak. 

Scouting the Texans 

• Jaime Perez leads the team, batting .404 with 21 hits, 13 RBI, and 13 runs scored.  

• Brian Panneton is 2-1 in four starts and has pitched to a 4.24 ERA. In 17.0 innings, Panneton has struck out 16 batters and allowed eight runs on 20 hits.  

• Tarleton enters the matchup 8-9 and on a four-game winning streak.
