Rob Liddington Jr. continues to produce at the plate. He leads the country in hits (17) and has the third most total bases (31). Liddington leads the Cardinals, batting .515 through eight games. As a team, the Red and Black lead the country in highest batting average (.393), most doubles (26), most runs scored (100), and most hits (107). The team is also third in OBP (.507) and eighth in slugging percentage (.589).

Salinas has been stellar on the mound, pitching to a 0.69 ERA while also leading the team in innings pitched (13.0). Salinas and Jackson Elizondo are tied for the team lead in strikeouts at ten. Salinas has held batters to a .195 batting average, and he is coming off a complete game against Texas Southern this past weekend.

Max Belyeu leads the team batting .522 with 12 hits, seven RBI, and eight runs scored. Jared Spencer has yet to record a win in two starts but has pitched to a 0.90 ERA. Spencer has struck out 12 batters in ten innings and allowed one run on seven hits.
