Jordan Pyke led the way with 26,
Davion Bailey, and
Tahj Staveskie both had 21.

Things flipped in the second half as it was now the Cardinals who were struggling to put the ball in the basket while SLU found a rhythm on offense to cut into the lead. The Lions also had the advantage from the stripe, getting ten foul calls compared to just two for UIW early on the in the second half. This helped spur Southeastern to their first lead of the game 60-58 with 7:30 to go.
The Cardinals were not phased and knocked down five consecutive 3-pointers to not only regain the lead but take full control of the game, 77-70 with seconds remaining. Staveskie finished things off with a pair of free throws, giving UIW the 79-0 win.
