SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team is set for this year's Southland Conference Tournament, taking place on the campus of East Texas A&M. UIW will take on Lamar in the quarterfinals on Friday at 4 p.m.
UIW enters the tournament as the fourth seed, the highest seed in program history. The Cardinals are led by two SLC First Team All-Conference honorees, Calissa Allison and Kyla Malone. The Cardinals faced Lamar earlier this year, with Lamar coming away with a 3-1 win in Beaumont.

Sophomore setter Calissa Allison has been the heartbeat of the Cardinals, making her presence felt in every phase of the game. She stands alone among all NCAA Division I players this season as the only student-athlete to total at least 800 assists, 350 digs, and 100 kills.
