SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team hosts five home games this week, kicking off the week with UTRGV on Tuesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. The Cardinals then host Prairie View A&M on Wednesday, March 6 at 2 p.m. UIW closes out the week against Texas Southern in a three-game series March 8-10. All games with be played at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B.

Outfielder/LHP Dalton Beck is another key contributor for the Cardinals with 19 hits, three home runs, and 13 RBIs this season while batting .413. This past week the Cardinals went 1-3 with a midweek loss against Tarleton and a 1-2 series loss against ULM. Three weeks into the season, the Cardinals are ranked number one in triples with ten and number ten in runs scored with 123.
Scouting the Vaqueros
