COLLEGE STATION, TX. - The University of the Incarnate Word women's and men's cross country teams are set for this year's South Central Regional Championship at Texas A&M University.

Women's 6k race - 9:00 a.m. CT
Men's 10k race - 10:00 a.m. CT

Both teams enter Regionals coming off the Southland Conference Championship. The women's team finished in fifth place led by Freshman Vera Yohanna-Maisaje, who was named to the Southland All-Conference Second Team.
The men's side is led by several Southland All-Conference selections, including First-Team selection Griffin Neal, who led the team to a first-place finish. Neal, along with Christopher Daniels, Kevin Hernandez, and Anthony Zapata, earned First-Team honors. Byan Mileski, Jared Laverty, and Kamron Loera were named to the All-Conference Second Team. Loera was also named the Southland Conference Newcomer of the Year.
Both teams have competed against top programs such as Texas, Oregon, Texas A&M, and more, so the regional championship competition is nothing new for the Cardinals.
