The Cardinals remain undefeated following a 2-0 win over UTRGV on Thursday night in the Cardinals lone match of the week. The win gave UIW its first 3-0 start since 2013. The Cardinals will look to carry last week's momentum into the third week of action, where they will travel to New Mexico State on Thursday and UTEP on Sunday.
