The University of the Incarnate Word volleyball team has finalized its schedule, announced Friday. The Cardinals are set for 12 home matches at the McDermott Convocation Center and 14 road contests.
 
UIW opens the season at home with the Cardinal Classic on Aug. 26-27, welcoming Texas State, HBU and Texas Southern for a six-match round-robin tournament. The Cardinals round out the tournament portion of the season with trips to Charleston, South Carolina (COFC Classic), and UTSA (Roadrunner Classic Presented by Courtyard Marriott at the Rim).
 
Southland Conference (SLC) action begins on Thursday, Sept. 22, as UIW hosts Nicholls State University. The Cardinals play home-and-away series with each SLC opponent.
 
Following the regular season, all 10 teams will square off at the 2022 Southland Conference Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Southeastern Nov. 17-20 in Hammond, Louisiana.
