SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team is set to host a midweek game against Tarleton State University on Tuesday, April 12, at Sullivan Field, sponsored by H-E-B. The Cardinals then travel to McNeese State University for a three-game series beginning on Thursday, April 14 and ending on Saturday, April 16.

• Ridge Rogers was named Southland Conference (SLC) Hitter of the Week following the team's sweep over Northwestern State University.
• Rogers dominated at the plate, hitting .538 with six RBIs and six runs to earn his first weekly honor.
• Following UIW's first SLC series sweep, the team jumped up to No. 3 in the current SLC baseball standings.
• UIW is 15-13 overall and 5-4 in the SLC.
