SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team will recognize three seniors in its final home game of the 2021-22 season on Saturday, March 5, as it takes on Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT at the McDermott Center. Fans can purchase tickets on the UIW ticket website or by calling the ticket office at (210)805-3000.
The Cardinals will be celebrating Robert "RJ" Glasper as well as managers Jay Seine and
Evan Santos for the 2022 Senior Day.

UIW and TAMUCC last faced on Jan. 14 when the Islanders secured an 80-64 victory. Glasper led the Cardinal offense with a 28-point performance while going perfect from the free throw line, knocking down six.
UIW
The Cardinals are coming off a split week of competition. After falling to Houston Baptist University (HBU) 82-68, UIW rallied to defeat McNeese State University, 69-67. Glasper led the offense with 20 points and
Drew Lutz followed with 16 against the Cowboys.
TAMUCC
The Islanders are also coming off a split week, first defeating HBU in a close, 75-70 matchup before falling to Nicholls 86-75. Isaac Mushila leads the Islander offense, averaging 14.4 points a game.
UIW PLAYERS TO WATCH
- Glasper (15.6), Lutz (11.9) and Charlie Yoder (11.6) average double-digit points per game for the Cardinals.
- Glasper also leads in 3-pointers made (56) and free throws made (77).
- Brandon Swaby leads UIW on the boards, averaging 4.6 per game.
- Lutz leads the Cardinals in assists (93) and steals (29).
