KATY, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team fell to Nicholls, 87-56, on Thursday evening in its first game of the inaugural Southland Conference Tip-Off Event.
 
The Colonels jumped out to a quick lead with back-to-back threes and maintained their advantage throughout the game. RJ Glasper led the Cardinal offense with 20 points, but Nicholls secured the victory. 
 
UP NEXT
The Cardinals continue competition in the SLC Tip-Off Event when they face Northwestern State University on Friday, Jan. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT.
