Callahan, Vohra join men’s soccer

SAN ANTONIO – Local high school product Caleb Callahan and junior college transfer Ajay Vohra joins the University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team for the fall 2021 season.

Callahan, a true freshman from Samuel Clemens High School turned in an impressive senior season for the Buffaloes with 27 goals and adding 10 assists a season ago, leaving his mark as the top 6A goal scorer. Callahan helped the Buffaloes to three undefeated seasons and reached the 6A Region 4 quarterfinals in the spring of 2021.

A two-time All-District first-team selection, Callahan plans to study cyber security. He is the son of Chad and Cori Callahan and has two older siblings, Cameron and CaLeigha. CaLeigha was on the women's soccer team at Houston before transferring to Grambling State this summer to finish her career.

Vohra, a sophomore transfer played one year at Waubonsee Community College starting in 17 games as a freshman and helping the Chiefs to a 13-5-1 record. The defender recorded six assists for the Chiefs during the 2019-20 season.

As a member of his Bolingbrook High School in Aurora, Illinois, Vohra helped his team to their first regional title in over 30 years his freshman season.

Vohra is the son of Mamta and Sanjay Vohra, and has an older sister, Sharon.
