SAN ANTONIO -- After scoring four goals across two matches, including his first career hat trick in the Cardinal's comeback win over Southern Indiana, Diego Robles was named the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday morning. 

Robles had Incarnate Word's lone goal in the 59th minute to secure a 1-1 draw against SIUE, which entered Thursday's matchup atop the conference standings.

He followed that performance up with his first career hat trick against Southern Indiana on Sunday afternoon. After the Cardinals fell behind 2-0 in the first half, Robles converted three consecutive penalty kicks to help lead UIW to a 4-2 comeback victory over the Screaming Eagles.

The award marks Robles' first Player of the Week honor. The San Antonio native is in his third season with the Cardinals and leads the team in nearly every offensive category, including goals (seven), shots (30), shots on goal (21), points (14) and game-winning goals (three).

He also leads the OVC in shots on goal and game-winning goals while ranking second in goals and points. His three-goal performance against Southern Indiana marked the most goals scored by an OVC player in a single game this season. 

Incarnate Word will head on the road to face Eastern Illinois on Thursday and Western Illinois on Sunday.
