SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's volleyball team hosted New Orleans on Thursday, October 28. The Cardinals won 3-0 over the Privateers.
 
UIW tallied 39 kills, 35 assists and 53 digs in their victory over New Orleans. Bethany Clapp led the Cardinals with eight kills followed by Chase Jackson and Annamarie Alvarez with seven each. Audrey Patton led the defense with 11 digs. Natalie Martin set up the Cardinal offense with 19 assists.
 
The Cardinals jumped to early lead at the beginning of each set to sweep the Privateers for the second time this season.
