STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS – University of the Incarnate Word fell 3-0 to Tarleton State University on Tuesday, October 26.
Bethany Clapp and
Annamarie Alvarez both led the Cardinal offense with eight kills on the match.
Natalie Martin set up Clapp, Alvarez and the rest of the Cardinal offense registering 10 assists.
Mariela Nieto started as libero for the first time this season, leading the Cardinal defense with 10 total digs. Martin also registered 10 digs on the match.
Nailah Landon led the Cardinals at the net with two solo blocks.
The Cardinals battled back in each set of the match totaling 18 tied scores and eight lead changes.

The Cardinals end the week when they host Nicholls. The match is set for Saturday, October 30 at 11:30 a.m. This is also senior day for our five volleyball seniors. Come early to watch us honor our seniors for all they have given to the UIW Volleyball program.
