SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team announced the postponement of its three opening Southland Conference games due to COVID-19-related concerns within the program. Additionally, Saturday's non-conference matchup against UTRGV has been canceled.
 
The Cardinals are postponing the contests against Northwestern State (Jan. 6), at New Orleans (Jan. 9) and at McNeese (Jan.13). The new dates are below.
 
Northwestern State – Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
at New Orleans – Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.
at McNeese – Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
