SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word football team added 11 signees to the 2020 signing class on Wednesday, announced head coach

Played at Porter High School in Porter, Texas, under Jim Holley… had more than 600 receiving yards and caught 12 TD passes as a senior… helped guide team to become bi-district champions… as a junior, caught 24 passes for 482 yards and eight touchdowns… two-time first team all-district wide receiver and utility player of the year… also honored with academic all-district and academic all-state accolades… named student-athlete of the month in November 2019.

Mother is Keena Bradley… father played football at ULM and uncle played at McNeese… started playing football at age five… chose to attend UIW because it is a great university with a great coaching staff… planning to major in kinesiology with a goal of becoming a physical trainer.

Parents names are Tah and Hilda Ncho… started playing football at 15… has two siblings… both mom and dad played college handball in Cameroon… chose to attend UIW because the coaching staff made him feel like he was part of the family with their honesty… plans to major in kinesiology.

Parents are Costas and Ewlina Skordis… started playing football in seventh grade… step father played Aussie rules… chose to attend UIW because he loves the atmosphere, and it's a program he wants to make an impact in… would like to major in computer science.

Played for Parish Episcopal School under Daniel Novakov in Dallas… was a leader on the team, being selected as captain and leadership captain… as a senior, helped team win a state championship… was first team all-district as a safety and wide receiver… selected first team all-state at safety and MVP of TAPPS 1-2… amassed 66 tackles (20 unassisted and 46 assisted) with 4.0 tackles for loss… grabbed one interception and returned it 79 yards… had five pass breakups, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble… blocked two field goals… had five kickoff returns for 198 yards and eight punt returns for 89 yards… offensively, had 36 receptions for 594 yards and six TDs… also rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries… as a junior, guided team to state semifinals… was first team all-district at running back and safety… named honorable mention all-state at running back and safety… earned special teams district player of the year… recorded 112 tackles, one sack and 14 pass breakups… also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and snagged an interception as a junior… offensively, recorded 371 yards on 51 rushing attempts, contributing two rushing TDs as well… had one reception for three yards… as a sophomore, had 121 tackles, three forced fumbles and one interception… recorded 48 tackles and one forced fumble as a freshman.

Parents are Gayla and Lonnie Culp… the youngest of four siblings… started playing football at seven years old… chose UIW because he "wanted to be close to home but it also feels like home"… plans to major in business administration because he's interested in corporations and how to successfully run one.

Played at Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas… as a senior, helped guide team to a 10-3 overall record with a 6-2 mark in district play… prior to Klein Oak High School, played at Davis High School in Houston… best game happened junior year included 20 tackles, one interception, a tackle for loss and a sack… helped guide team to third round of the playoffs… was a two-time all-district linebacker, defensive newcomer of the year and honorable mention for defensive MVP… member of the National Honors Society and took AP classes from grades 7-12.

Full name is Tylan Evan James George but goes by T. George… calls Carencro, Louisiana, home… parent's names are Vincent George and Chaun Davis… has four siblings… began playing football at 14… plans to be pre-PA at UIW with the goal of becoming a physician.

Played at Goose Creek Memorial High School under Shannon Carter in Baytown, Texas… as a senior, completed 13 of 17 pass attempts for 264 yards and two TDs in one game… also registered four carries for 42 yards in one game… caught one pass for 39 yards… recorded 345 total yards… as a junior, played in seven games and threw four passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns… ran 20 times for 191 yards and three TDs… also had 10 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown… amassed 452 total yards.

A dual threat QB who played at Columbia High School in Columbia, Texas, under Brent Mascheck… as both a junior and a senior, threw for more than 1,000 yards at QB… in 2018, completed 72 of 124 pass attempts for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns… also rushed for four TDs… helped team become 2019 co-district champions… earned first team all-district as a QB, honorable mention all-state football and All-Southern Brazoria County first team QB… also named two-time all-district offensive MVP in basketball… was selected honorable mention all-state academically.
