COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team takes its annual trip to College Station, Texas, to face No. 18 Texas A&M on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM WEEK TWO
- The Cardinals participated in the annual Alamo Irish Classic on Feb. 21-23, falling to Notre Dame (12-1) and Toledo (11-10) before closing out the tournament with a 7-3 victory over crosstown rival UTSA.
- Luke Taggart struck out six batters in five innings in the contest against Notre Dame on Feb. 21.
- Landon Etzel led the UIW against Toledo (Feb. 22) with a 2-for-6 outing, including two runs, two RBI, a double and a stolen base.
- Aaron Celestino guided the Cardinals to a 7-3 victory over UTSA on Feb. 23. He retired all 14 batters he faced while recording three strikeouts in 4.2 scoreless innings.
HISTORY VS TEXAS A&M
- UIW has a 1-3 record in the all-time series against No. 18 Texas A&M.
- The Cardinals and the Aggies first went head-to-head on February 25, 2015, when UIW fell, 7-0, against the Aggies.
- The teams last faced off on Feb. 27, 2019, when UIW secured a 6-5 victory over then-No. 23 Texas A&M, its first win against the Power 5 opponent in program history.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
- No. 18 Texas A&M is 8-0 to start the season after a three-game series sweep against Army on Feb. 21-23. The Aggies face Houston Baptist on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. prior to Wednesday's matchup against UIW.
- Zach DeLoach leads the Aggies with a .609 batting average, including 14 hits, 11 RBI and four runs.
- Texas A&M's offense leads the nation with 107 runs and 13.4 runs per game.
