QUOTING COACH DOW
"To be honest, nothing that happened today surprised us. Prior to Christmas we hadn't practiced since December 8th or played a game since December 5th, so as you'd expect our stamina was affected, we were a step slow and we just weren't sharp at all. Going into the game we knew their length was going to be problematic and it definitely affected us in all three areas...offensively in finishing shots around the rim, defensively in their ability to repeatedly get post-ups and of course, rebounding on both ends of the floor. Nonetheless there were some stretches where we played well and competed."
