NEW ORLEANS -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team secured a 4-3 victory over the University of New Orleans late Friday night at the Hilton Riverside courts.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
UNO captured the doubles victory to take a 1-0 lead, but Dennis Boisseau won by forfeit on court six to even the score.
 
Sebastian Mortier's 6-4, 6-4 triumph in the No. 1 singles match snagged a lead for the Cardinals. The Privateers tied the match up with a win on court two but UIW responded as Oliver Valentinsson defeated Samuel Armand, 6-1, 6-4.
 
UNO again knotted the score with a triumph on court three, but the Cardinals secured the victory as Caleb Dyer bested Odysseas Papaioannou, 7-6, 6-3.
