DALLAS -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's tennis team fell, 6-1, to SMU in Dallas on Sunday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
In doubles, the Mustangs took the first win on court one, but Paco Bendana and Caleb Dyer bested Carles Sarrio and Roberto Rosales (6-4) in the No. 2 spot to draw even. SMU then secured the doubles point with a victory on court three.
 
In singles, SMU got the better of the Cardinals on each court except court six, where Oliver Valentinsson defeated Andrew Buhelos, 7-5, 7-6 (8-6).
 
UP NEXT
The Cardinals return home to face St. Mary's on Friday at 10 a.m. (CT) at the Mabry Tennis Center.
