Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015-16 (Freshman): Vander Heiden participated in the fall season for the Cardinals. He finished with an overall singles record of 3-6.

High School: Vander Heiden was on the tennis team at Jesuit College Prep prior to graduating from STEM Academy. He was the District 9-5A doubles champion in 2013 and a regional qualifier. He was the team's most valuable player that year. In 2012, the team were District 9-5A champions and they were runner-ups the following season. He was a member of the Young Science Achievers Program. He was in the Texas Super Champ Rankings at four different age groups. He played junior tennis at the Brookhaven Country Club and the T Bar M Tennis Academy.

Personal: Vander Heiden is the son of Tom and Kim Vander Heiden and is studying sports management. He has a brother, Josh and a sister, Kassi. He was born on July 9, 1996.
