ATLANTA -- The University of the Incarnate Word swimming team will send three student-athletes to the 2019 Toyota U.S. Open Championships, spanning from Dec. 4-7. Brenda Diaz, Oleksandr Karpenko and Hector Ruvalcaba Cruz will represent the Cardinals at the championships after slating qualifying times previously in the season.
 
The meet, hosted by Georgia Tech, is under new nomenclature as it was rebranded from its previous title, the U.S. Winter Nationals, and will be set in long-course meters.
 
Meet sessions for competition are 10 a.m. CT for prelims and 7 p.m. for finals. The TV and streaming schedule can be found here.
