NATCHITOCHES, La. -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team fell to Northwestern State, 3-1, Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Northwestern State took the lead early in the match, scoring the sole goal of the first half in the 13th minute. The Demons scored two more early in the second half to lead 3-0 over the Cardinals.

In the 84th minute, freshman
Andrea Reyes sent the ball in towards the box, allowing senior
Sabrina Martineau to beat the NSU goalkeeper to score the first goal for UIW. The Cardinals ultimately fell, 3-1.
Katrina Buck had seven saves on the night.
