RUSTON, Louisiana -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team faces Louisiana Tech on Friday night. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m. (CT).

THE CARDINALS
- UIW continues its 2018 campaign with the second road game of the season.
- The Cardinals are 0-1 after falling, 3-0, at North Texas on Aug. 24.
- Senior goalkeeper Sydney Huntsinger contributed three saves against North Texas.
- UIW met LA Tech once during the 2017 campaign, falling 1-0 on Aug. 22.
SCOUTING THE LADY TECHSTERS
- This is the third home game for Louisiana Tech. The Lady Techsters saw their program-record nine-match home winning streak come to an end Sunday with a 3-2 loss to Northwestern State.
- The Lady Techsters have 15 freshmen and five transfers, while returning seven starters.
UP NEXT
