SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word baseball team takes on UTRGV in a midweek contest on Tuesday at 6 p.m. (CT) at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
 
FIRST PITCH
UIW is 27-18 overall with a 12-9 mark in Southland Conference action after defeating UNO on April 28 and April 29. With the two victories over the Privateers, the Cardinals have won five conference series this season. UIW's 27 wins and 12 conference victories are the most since becoming Division I and joining the Southland Conference.
 
UTRGV is 21-23 overall and 6-9 in the Western Athletic Conference after falling, 5-2, to Sacramento State on April 29. UTRGV is 15-11 at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
