UIW back in action at Arizona

TUSCON, Ariz. -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team returns to the hardwood after its Thanksgiving break when the Cardinals travel to Arizona to face the Wildcats Tuesday night in Tucson. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.

The Cardinals are looking to bounce back after a furious comeback fell just short last Wednesday, Nov. 21, against Weber State at home.

  • That will be one of two games against 2018 NCAA Tournament teams, as UIW visits Minnesota on Dec. 5.
  • South Dakota, Houston, and Rice each took part in the WNIT.
  • Weber State (WBI) also saw postseason play in 2017-18.
