EDINBURG, TX – The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team couldn't rebound from an early goal from San Diego State, resulting in a 1-0 loss Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
San Diego State got on the board early, with a header from Kyle Allen assisted. This would be the only goal of the match. The remainder of the game the Aztecs would only have one more shot on goal.
The Cardinals would have 4 shots on goal in the match, all 4 would be saved. The Cardinals outshout the Aztecs 7 to 5. UIW would also have a corner kick advantage of 4 to 3.
