San Antonio, TX – The University of the Incarnate Word Men's soccer team fall to the Houston Baptist Huskies Friday night 1-0 in a close fought match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals (2-3-1) outshot the Huskies 17-7, but couldn't manage to get a point on the board. The first half would end in a close make for
Joe Brown, but with a miraculous team save HBU (3-2-0) was able to keep the Cardinals off the board.
The first goal would come in the 53
rd minute, Dominick Falletto of HBU would cross kick a pass to Malik Key which found the back of the net, this resulted in the one and only goal of the match.
Ryan Osborne would have three near goal shots, but just couldn't connect in the winding minutes of the match.
