SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's soccer team opens the 2017 regular season against North Texas on Friday, August 18 at 7 p.m. from Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium.

www.uiwcardinals.com/programs. There will be a limited amount of hard copies of the program at the Benson Stadium ticket window for fans requesting one instead of the digital copy.
OPENING KICK
UIW lost 2-0 at Texas last Friday in an exhibition which featured a tie game until the 75
th minute.
Sydney Huntsinger made eight fantastic saves for the Cardinals in goal.
North Texas is the three-time defending Conference USA regular season champions and are picked to finish at the top again in the conference. Junior defender Carissa Sanders was picked to the preseason all-conference team. The Mean Green went 15-5-1 last season.
