Biography
2017 (Junior): She appeared in all 16 games and one as a starter. She had nine shots total with 4 on goal. She was named to the SLC Honor Roll with a 3.46 GPA.
2016 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Emani was a key player for the Cardinals. She played in 17 games and started in 11 of them. Stewart took 19 shots on goal and made three of them. She also had an individual game high for the game against Prairie View in points (4) and goals (2).
2015 (Freshman): Stewart was one of the Cardinals' biggest threats on offense. Her blazing speed and quickness helped her score four goals, which was tied for the team lead in 2015. She was named to the UTRGV All-Tournament Team and Tulsa Spectrum Paint All-Tournament Team. She played in all the 19 games and started 18 of them. Her goal at Nicholls on Sept. 27 was the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory.
High School: Stewart was on the soccer and track teams at Hesperia High School. She broke the school record with 29 goals in one season. She was the Mojave River League Athlete of the Year and 2015 Female Athlete of the Year. In track and field, she was clocked in a time of 12.0 in the 100 meters. She was a four-year captain and team MVP. She played for the So Cal Rush club team. She volunteered with the Leisure League Thrift store for six years and participated in an Autism Walk and a Cancer Walk.
Personal: Stewart is the daughter of Darrell Gautt II and Syreeta Stewart and is studying kinesiology and sports medicine with a minor in education. She has a sister, Deja, and a brother, Darrell. She was born as a twin, but her sister Eman passed away shortly after they were born on February 14, 1997.
